Reason to Believe

Back when I was seven years old, I was given a copy of "The Chipmunks Sing The Beatles Hits." From that moment on, I was hooked. Not on the Chipmunks (although they were a family favorite for many years), but on rock and roll.

The past 42 years have been a great journey of discovery for me. Listening to the great music that emerged out of the arrival of The Beatles and going back to listen to the music that inspired them, has been a source of great enjoyment and frustration.

To be able to share what I've listened to with others has always been a dream of mine. Rather than bore people with the day to day experiences of my life, I would like to share my musical opinions on yesterday's music and today's music. If you're over 40 and you felt like there wasn't any new music out there for the rock and roll fan in you, I've got a surprise for you. It's out there, and while not always easy to find, rock and roll has not died. It's just been resting.
